About the break
A weekend of nostalgia as you step back in time with a trip on the East Lancashire Railway, when dining by train was the height of luxury. Indulge in the history & charm of Skipton on Saturday, browse the market town of Bury on Sunday morning before taking in Lancashire’s countryside charm with a lunch aboard traditional Pullman-style carriages. We will conclude the trip with free time exploring Lancaster’s quirky boutiques and independent galleries on the Monday before heading home. The Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel is a 3 star hotel built around a Georgian manor house and a Grade II listed building.
