Named “The World’s Greatest Spa”, the elegant Victorian spa town of Harrogate is the perfect idyllic retreat, renowned for attracting Royalty and Nobility throughout the ages. Famous for its classic tea rooms, healing spring waters and Turkish baths, there’s independent boutiques, quaint cafes, beautiful gardens, antique shops, museums & art galleries for you to enjoy too. We will spend a day in the historical city of York, embarking on a sightseeing cruise from King’s Staith with free time for you to do more exploring at your own pace – why not visit the narrow medieval streets of the Shambles or York Minster? This holiday also includes a journey on the Wensleydale Railway from Leeming Bar to Leyburn, a heritage rail journey through the scenic Yorkshire Dales. We will also visit the award-winning Newby Hall & Gardens in Ripon this day, which includes a house tour and afternoon tea. Staying in the very centre of historical Harrogate, the Crowne Plaza is loved for its central location as it is only a short walk from the town centre. It has 214 stylish bedrooms and a modern & contemporary restaurant.  Hotel Facilities: Bar, Restaurant, Tea/coffee making facilities in room, Lift to all rooms (no ground floor rooms).
